We had to visit Gilbert, we dont stay there and happened to see the Mongolian grill and decided to check it out. The service is impeccable to start with. The lady at the counter explained to us poor souls how it works. We are vegetarians so she ensured the grill is cleaned up before they make ours.. i liked that. Once you skip the meats there is actually a good variety of vegetables and noodles and they give butter paper sheets to push it down so you can fill more. The Sauces were a bit confusing but another lady helped us there. Its fun to watch your food being cooked. Also with 12 odd dollars for dinner you also have flavored yoghurts and unlimited soda. Not to mention soups and Rice. Soups are not vegeterian though. So we loved it.But why only 4 ? .. Well.. i guess a bit more choice for the veggies in the sauces will help. Adding Rice along with noodles will help. I wouldnt want to have noodles all the while would i? . Can we have veggie Soup options… asking for too much maybe but hey we are paying 🙂 tooWould i come again .. of course yes but i wont take a large bowl.. its just too much food 🙂

The food at Ycs is really fantastic, at first. When you first walk in, you are greeted by a host stand, you pick your bowl size. My first complaint was the prices. A small bowl was about eleven dollars. Shrugging past the price, assuming the food must be great, I found that the food was great. I got beef, broccoli, carrots, and wheat noodles; for my sauce I did the Chefs Favorite. It took me just a moment to figure out the directions, though I have previous experience with cooking and someone who does not cook often may have found it confusing. The cooked the food right in front of me, I could smell all of the delicious scents from the meal I put together myself. My second trip I felt like a veteran of the Mongolian grill. I used some of the provided wax paper to fit more food into my bowl. This seemed like a good idea at first, but it causes the beef to come out very stringy compared to normal. If you are going to use wax paper on your meat selection, pick chicken for the best result. I also took a stroll by the extras counter. This was mainly rice and chips. The rice was flavorless at best, and the chips rather stale. I also decided to have some of their frozen yogurt. It tastes strongly of the chocolate milk sold by the gallon at supermarkets. All in all, a less enjoyable experience then the first time. The stir fry food of YCs Mongolian Grill was also amazing. Being able to customize your meal and get something different yet equally delicious every time was very appealing. However the rest of the restaurant is its own downfall. The prices are very unattractive unless you know just how to pack your bowl full of food. The sauces menu, while delicious, leaves little room for experimentation. The extras counters is far less appetizing than the stir fry. The frozen yogurt is subpar at best. If you are looking for just some great stir fry and free soft drinks, then YCs is the place to go. but get dessert somewhere else.

I had never had the pleasure to eat at a Mongolian grill before now. I was worried at first since not only was I clueless what Mongolian grill was, but I am also extremely picky. As I entered the restaurant I saw that for the price of meal was cheap especially when u get as much as u can pack into a bowl, along with refills, rice and all you can eat frozen yogurt. This gave me a more than filling meal for even some one with a big appetite. After purchasing a small bowl which I was weary about I started towards the buffet style line. As I started into the buffet line I reached my first surprise . The starting section of the buffet is your raw meats, these you pack down into your bowl as much as possible. The next part you pick your noodles and your vegetables. I started with mixing in my favorite vegetables which included lettuce and multiple types of peppers. I finished off the buffet with mixing up my cooking sauces. My goal was to make my meal as spicy and delicious. After my fun selection process I walked up to the counter to watch my food get cooked.I got to my second favorite part of the meal when I gave up my meal to the chefs. They through it down on a round heated table and with a cloud of steam he went to work. I watched as the chef soaked my meal with my sauces and after a short while put it into a big bowl. I took my bowl and finished filling it with brown rice. With my glass of soda and my big steaming bowl I started into my meal. It was one of the best meals I have ever had. I recommend this restaurant to anyone even if they are picky, I am delighted that I took a chance and from that chance I now have a new favorite restaurant.

It’s a neat concept that I’ve seen in a few restaurants in the east but it doesn’t appear to be as popular out here. YC’s has some features that I like but I found that the negatives outweighed them all. Good -You’re in control of your portionBeverage is included in dinnerFood is cooked fastThere’s fro-yo(?)Bad -It’s not as clean feeling as it could beThe meat is frozen and flavorlessEmployees seemed less than enthusiastic The soda machine was malfunctioningThere’s a cashier ready to take your money as you walk in

Just ok. Nothing special. Had awards hanging outside. So a bit disappointed. Had the Chef’s Special recommended by girl at the door. She was a big help since it was my first time. Food just not great

I thought YC’S Mongolian Grill was an interesting outing, i was looking for a good family type resturaunt. I wanted to get good food that everyone would like. I thought their food was good, their service was awesome, and the restaurant was clean and organized well. One reason their food is good is you can personalize it, if you want more sauce, or if you want it more plain. You can add meat or not so it is vegetarian safe although everything is cooked on the same grill. It also just tastes goodAlso the people are very nice, they joke around with you and are just friendly. The atmosphere is great, it is very relaxed and family friendly. One of the coolest things about the restaurant is you get to see your food cooked right after you put the ingredients together yourself! The resturant is clean, fun, and good food! i suggest it!
