Green Chile Barbacoa Enchiladas. Though not terrible, not something I would ever order again.Flavorless, beef strings, in a generic tortilla, covered by a pretty good green sauce.Beans were bland, rice was tough, chewy and unappetizing.Best part of the meal was the exceptional corn bread , served in a hot skillet.Food……….C-Service…….CAmbience…..BValue……….C-

Awful. I have to say this was the second time my Husband and I have been here, and we will not be going back, the first was a year ago and we came in for a happy hour to have one of the margaritas that is suppose to be so good, well after we had them we gave them back and each got a beer and left. Tonight after we left a play in Phoenix we wanted to get a late dinner it was 10 p.m. And we live down the street from here, I went in asked if they were still serving dinner I was told yes. The service was good, the dinner on the other hand was just awful, I had the macaroni and cheese with chicken, it was a over cooked bowel of noodles with way to much cheese. My Husband got the pork tenderloins with grilled veggies, the veggies had no seasoning at all, no salt or pepper, and the pork tenderloin was dry and over cooked, with a scoop of what looked like green baby poop next to it( it was some kind of sauce to go with the dinner) both meals were the last meals to be cooked and you could tell. The server came over and asked us if we would like last call for another glass of wine, I said yes it’s Saturday night, we get the wine not even 5 minutes later the lights came on and the music was turned off and we were given the bill it’s not even 11 p.m.. Our bill was $83.00 with tip, but in the restaurant world when it is closing time that means get out, and don’t let the door hit you in the butt…..we were never asked by the manager on duty or by the server if we even liked our dinner, I had 2 bites out of mine and when she took it away it did not dawn on her to ask if I liked it. So I would say if your looking to have dinner stay away from here. I’m sure F lemmings next door would have been a bit more money but well worth the extra money. I will never be back to this place again.

Build You’re Bloody Mary….Brunch. Stopped by over the weekend for brunch, not including customers in the bar, we had the whole dinning room to our selves. The brunch menu includes a nice variety of southwestern and the usually egg dishes, the menu is also the regular lunch items. We started with a Build Your Blood Mary, you have vodka, and tequila as your choices. Had the trio to start which is always good, spouse had the eggs benedict poached hard, prepared correctly, I had the egg quesadilla which was filling. Service was great, dining room started to fill up about an hour after we arrived.

So and so. Just ate there for my second time today, it was mediocre. I got the catfish tacos that turned out to be quite mushy and the green chili rice that it came with was bland. Atmosphere was good but our waitress was nowhere to be seen at most times. I might go there again though, the third time seems to be the charm.

Not Impressed. Today was my first visit to this restaurant and I have to say it was not a good first impression. Strike one: hostess tried to seat us in a booth that was very dirty; Strike two: once seated at a clean table, the waitress had some sort of sauce on her apron which smeared onto the table as she was delivering our drinks; Strike three: dirty silverware (not just dirty, but pieces of dried food stuck between the fork tongs – YUCK!)The food was tasty, however by the time it arrived at the table I was already in a bad mood from the prior incidents. Maybe I will give them another chance at a later date. Maybe.

Best Salad Ever!. The Red Chile & Mango Steak Salad is one of the Top 5 best salads I have ever had, if not #1. The combination of steak, blue cheese, spicy walnuts, tomatoes, and fresh chunks of mangos provides a flavor combination that is out of this world! Sweet, spicy, salty, savory, all it one delicious salad. What could make for a better lunch? The service is pretty good, the cornbread is hot, and the margaritas are worth every penny! Go there for lunch, or for the Bloody Mary Bar on Saturdays (only at this location) or Sundays!
