2nd visit, (1st equally bad) $40 Ordered 2 catfish dinners consisted of 1 piece of fish, cold fries and dry cole slaw. 1 hamburger dinner with fries. hamburger was brown on outside and very raw on the inside, uneatable. Meals are skimpy portions, tasteless and cold for a high price. There will be no more visits.
Drive Into Prescott Instead…. My first impression was a very unhappy hostess. She didn’t smile and had no friendly nature about her. The place was COLD like 65 degrees. It took forever until our waitress came to our table and then another forever to get a happy hour drink. She said she couldn’t find the bartender. Then we asked her the favorite foods. She told us hers and not what was popular. I texted a friend who likes Bonn Fire and asked her what she liked. She recommended the blacked salmon. Finally our drinks arrived and then the waitress mentioned she forgot to put our bread in the oven. My husband tried the pulled pork and it was awfully bland without the bbq sauce. Beans were good. Salmon was almost overcooked. Bottom line for us – our first impression wasn’t good. Maybe later in the evening things are better with better staff? We were there for happy hour at 430 pm.
Horribe meat. If i wanted a schwans steak,i would have bought it from them myself! sick!
Menupalooza. Arguably the best restaurant in Chino Valley, this place has a full bar and a vast menu. American, seafood, steaks, Italian, pizza, sandwiches, and burgers. Many entres are available in a smaller size with one side instead of two, which drops the price from $$ to $. In fact, lots of the full-size entres are only $ (under $10). Service was good, cocktails weren’t expensive, and the atmosphere is fine. Recommended, especially for groups with diverse tastes, as there is plenty of options to choose from.
Great hamburgers and steaks! Everything tastes home made there! I don’t think I’ve ever had anything bad there ever. Liked the prickly pear margaritias, too! Good stuff!
