The basics done right. This is your basic local cafe where you place your order, help yourself to drinks, and get the meal delivered to your table. There’s a modest bakery selection and surprisingly good coffee in a number of varieties to choose from. The front counter staff is friendly and the girls are dressed in Mennonite garb, which you don’t see much around here. The corned beef hash I ordered took a little while to get, but it was made from scratch and very good. Besides what’s on the menu, there is a chalkboard advertising the dinner specials on the evenings they are open.
