Don’t be fooled by its appearance from the outside. Sure, it looks like a convenience store, and it certainly is in many respects, but the food sets it apart. Delicious Tortas are what they’re known for, but the breakfast burritos with homemade tortillas and enormous sandwiches are equally impressive. Scrumptious food that is incredibly well priced, I can’t stay away – highly recommend. If you’re looking for breakfast on the road or a perfect picnic lunch to take to a nearby attraction, this is a must-visit deli.
ALWAYS IN MY HEART. Verde Lea is a hidden gem in the Verde Valley everyone and I mean everyone at some point in time has crossed the threshold of this awesome place to eat hang out with friends and family……the Torta’s are unbelievably delicious ! You can taste the LOVE that they put into all the little details of food from the homemade Pico de Gallo and Tortilla’s to the burrito’s in the deli case as well as the sandwiches…..Some of my favorite items on the menu : Chicken Philly Club add avocado(it’s the healthy man fat fix),Torta (of course) Tacos Carmelous (I get chicken and add the avo) Chicken Quesidilla. They also have a to die for CUBAN !!!!!! They also have a wide variety of Specials on the Surf Board ALWAYS delicious. The atmosphere in always friendly and fast. They tell me that want me to leave Fat and Happy and I ALWAYS DO!!!!
The BEST fast food!. I’ve been visiting Cottonwood for the past few weeks – I’ve been to Verde Lea everyday for something. Favorites have been tacos and the salsa. I have also been buying their tortillas – the thinnest best tasting I’ve found in all my travels. I also love the attention and humor at the cash register.
The Tortas are incredible!
I can’t make up my mind.. Should I have a Torta or #3 or should I try something else? Everything looks so good. But I do love the world famous Torta and the #3. I’ll make up my mind when I get there!
Little Love. Love the Food and the SERVICE and I can take my children there and eat on a budget! I can feed a family of 6 ppl for around $ 60.00 which is 1/2 of what I spend some where else
