Very good burgers and great value. The double Mania burger is the standard and is very tasty. The avocado bacon burger is actually amazing, with plenty of both! The gyro is tasty too but could be a little more plentiful, but for $5 with fries and drink included it just can’t be beat. The beverage bar features Tang which I didn’t think was a big deal until I had three glasses! Nostalgia or thirst, I’m not sure. But it was obviously a real hit with me!The decor is reminiscent of the 50s but could use a refresh to come off less dingy. It actually comes off a little more like an amusement park, which is kind of fun, but still in need of some new carpeting and paint. Not a reason not to go there though.
This budget eatery offers a variety of burgers, Chicago Style sandwiches and hotdogs, breakfast items and Mexican Food. They don’t have a bar but do offer beer and liquor in airplane bottles. I tried the burger topped with pastrami and fries. The beef patty seemed to be made from fresh beef and is sort of squashed real thin on the grill. The pastrami made the sandwich tasty. The fries were fresh and crisp and seemed to be lightly battered. My husband had an Ortega Burger. I was impressed that they served it with a fresh roasted green chili. He also had it with onion rings. The sign states that the onion rings are home made. They were very similar to Burger King Onion Rings but better. This is a pretty good place to go to. It’s Fast Food Priced and much Better than fast food.
Burgers, yum. I ate at Burger Mania in Phoenix because it is located right next to my Motel. I had a bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a fountain soda. The food was well prepared and nicely presented, everything done nice and neatly, and the portion of fries was extremely generous. The fries were coated with something, I don’t know what, but they tasted okay, and they were good and hot, fresh out of the fryer. The burger came on a bun that had a larger diameter than the burger. The meat itself was a thin patty, so like thin patties anywhere, it was dry. The cheese was American, the bacon was a good portion. The burger was nicely dressed with pickles, onions, tomato, and lettuce. They serve their burgers with 1000 Island dressing but I had them hold that. I put my own 3 parts mustard to 1 part ketchup on the burger instead, just the way I like it. Mostly because of the meat patty, I’d say the burger was nothing special. The hotdogs and greek food on their menu looked very enticing… I suspect that those things might be better than their burgers. Overall, for a fast food place, I’d call it above average in most aspects.
Excellent gyros and fries. Oddly, burgers aren’t so great
Immense fast food menu. Unquestionably a fast food place, they serve up an enormous menu consisting of burgers, hot dogs, gyros, Mexican food as well as a very large breakfast menu. The quality is about middle of the road – none of the burgers or gyros are best-in-town, but the variety is impressive.
