I had the fish and chips and the fish tasted as if it was frozen and not fresh. Terrible service as well!
This location reeked like an open sewer this evening. according to the manager there is a problem with the entire deer valley complex that houses about a dozen restaurants…and apparently no one is doing anything about it…almost lost our dinners….YUK!!! we won’t be back!!!
Salads are super yummy…. I had BBQ chkn salad – tangy and delightful, my partner had the Chinese Chkn salad and loved it. Avoid the cherry Mojito – tasted like Pledge smells!
Tilapia bianca was delicious, chicken fried steak was great. Proportions were generous, particularly with the chicken fried steak. I could barely eat half! Service was great. A little pricey, but for good comfort food, its worth it.
Greeted as soon as I walked in. Food tasted great and came quickly. Waitress was friendly and got order correct. Price was good for the quality.
My wife and I love this place. Good homestyle meals that have great portion size and are very good overall. When we are unsure of exactly what we want for dinner out we often end up here. The service has been good everytime except for one which I chalk up to just a bad server. Otherwise the experience here is always very good.
I wrote a previous review that was too harsh. Let me just say that this franchise doesn’t give me the same brand experience at each location. Though I do enjoy the Claim Jumper at Scottsdale, I do not here.16 Jan, 2010I’ve been to Claim Jumper in Scottsdale and it’s good. This location isn’t though. I think the difference is the staff. Wherever you eat, just remember that the cooks and waiters are the people that live within bicycle distance of the restaurant and, if you haven’t noticed, this location is an armpit of local street trash. You’re more likely of contracting the mouth version of herpies here just by touching a table or chair and then yourself.
