I have been to Joey’s three times. The first time the buns were dried out and the Vienna Dogs didn’t have that snap they’re known for. Leading me to believe this is why they can sell their dogs for under 3 bucks. On my second visit it was better, but then I figured one more time and all I can say is NEVER AGAIN. Everything about this place is as generic as it gets. Ave your money and go to either The Chicago Hamburger Co. Or Johnny’s Chicago Red Hots if you want real Chicago Dogs.

I’ve been there 3 times, and each Time The service is was way too slow. There is no way I would ever wait that long again.
Small portions, over priced and rude service. Thnk in going back? Hell no! Go to Dazzos on Glendale and 50th sumthin ave. So worth the drive!
Average not impressed.. This is your typical fast food Italian Beef…Not even close to Al’s of Chicage. More Like a French dipped sandwich…Not impressed…No hurry to go back.
YUMMY. For those of you that try and compare Joey’s to Luke’s…you cannot. I have talked to Joey in the past at his restaurant and he feels he is very different from Luke’s. He uses Vienna Beef products, which is the true brand from Chicago. Luke’s makes their own beef. If you have eaten at Portillo’s in Chicago, then try Joey’s! Very comparable, maybe even better! Things to try: Italian Beef wet with some peppers, one of their homemade burgers, chili dog, and their fries. Such good food!
Pretty good!. I recently went to Joey’s and it was pretty good! It’s not too badly priced, I just wished the hot dogs we’re a bit bigger? Also the actual restaurant is decorated in such a neat way and it’s always clean!
