I’ve only tried Lamar’s Donuts about three times in the last five years. I always come after lunch someplace else and every time I tried a donut here they always are on the dry side. My donuts was generously frosted and the sprinkles were the better kind and were not waxy or crispy. I also shared my rainbow sprinkle cake donut with my dogs on the outdoor patio.

The place is very clean and well maintained. The Donuts are huge and delicious. Prices are average. $20 for fancy dozen & 10 for regular sized cake type Donuts. The coffee has an odd taste. It could be the water.

Want a dont at 11 am? Forget it. There were 5 left in the case. Staff couldn’t have cared less the selection was awful. And no they were not about to make more. You dont want a maple bar? Tough. We didnt buy, and we win’t be back.

Always looking for a great donut spot. Donuts are good but can get a little sweet. Great selection.

Best doughnuts ever. Don’t believe me? Try them. I live in Mesa and have driven 35 miles each way just to get these wonderful bits of goodness… And it was worth it! The doughnuts are always large and fresh. I’ve *never* had a bad one here. Be sure to try the chocolate frosted original, but apple fritters bigger than your face and bizmarks are excellent as well. Coffee is good and the staff are always friendly — I recognize people who have worked there for at least 3 years, probably longer.
