First of all James M. Was probably one of the best and most sincerely interested servers we’ve ever had at any restaurant ever! We even complicated our order by requesting the beef from the braised beef tortellini entree (our usual) atop a bed of gnocchi instead of tortellini. Not only was this met with enthusiastic cooperation, the resulting entree was ok be of the best things we’ve ever enjoyed from Olive Garden. It doesn’t get better than that!
It’s always good to have a consistent fall back plan, and Olive Garden is always it for me as I travel. Tuscana Sausage Soup and Salad, with Tiramisu for dessert! Sat at the bar this time and had great service. Even the hostess was very friendly.
The food is always wonderful. Never had any problems at this location.
I’m not the biggest fan of their entrees, but I really like their soup, salad, and breadsticks lunch. I like the atmosphere because it’s nice enough for a date, but also casual enough to wear jeans and a t-shirt.
Can’t say I like or dislike as the only reason I go is for the salad, bread sticks, and a side of Alfredo sauce. I don’t like the soups or pasta. But I am a fool for the salad dressing!
All servers are not created equal. The food at the Olive garden is the same no matter what location you attend that is not to say that the food served is not good because it is very good. There is an ample choice of entrees to choose from and some very nice deserts to finish your meal. The one thing you can never know when entering the garden is whether your server is in training or a qualified veteran. Unfortunately I believe that this chain has a high turnover with wait staff and this lends itself to the problem mentioned. So if you want nice Italian food and a quaint atmosphere the garden is a good choice, just don’t expect a lot from every server.
