Descent BBQ was not overly impressed. Was expecting better after reading all the reviews. There is better BBQ in Cave Creek.
Just got carry out. 1/2 slab baby back ribs and pulled pork sandwich. The ribs were very dry, hardly any sauce, corn bread was like lead. The sandwich had no sauce. Never getting food here again.
FINALLY! Good BBQ. This place is GREAT. I love good BBQ and this place delivers. This is by far the best BBQ I have tried in PHX. They get busy at lunch so if your going, go a little early. Every time I work on this side of town I stop here for lunch. I love the BBQ Burrito. They have great sauces and the meats are top notch. I recommend them highly. The staff is friendly, the food is very good, and they are quick. What more could you want?

VERY GOOD BBQed Meats. Hidden in a business mall across from Deer Valley Airport is where you can find Pork on a Fork. I didn’t expect much because of the very casual atmosphere But when I received my smoked chicken plate I found very moist delicately smoked chicken thighs that were just right. They didn’t need the assortment of sauces to try that were on the table but I did use a little bit of the spicy one for fun. The cole slaw was very fresh tasting and slightly sweet and drip free. My husband had the Midwest Monster Sandwich and he said it was just as good.Very Good BBQ in a no Frills atmosphere.
This is THE best bbq. We get carry-out from here monthly or more often (since it fist opened) and dine-in for a quick meal every few months, and after discovering this little bbq joint and their mouth watering smoked meats, every other place pales in comparison and we have had bbq just about everywhere. The sides are homemade (love their mac & cheese, beans, and potato salad) but, even though their chip french fries are good, I wish they would offer steak cut french fries. Doesn’t stop us from going, though, because they have the best smoked meats in Arizona.
