Good but certainly not the best in the valley (that title IMHO goes to Naked, hands down). The sausage was the tastiest followed by the pulled chicken then the brisket. All could be helped by some BBQ sauce (several varieties available) and the pulled pork almost REQUIRED it. The meats overall were pretty average. The sides were the standout however. The mac and cheese was addictively delicious. The potato salad and cornbread (the latter of which really shouldn’t count as a side) were also very good.
Very dry meats. I tried the sampler plate as recommended by a friend and i was very disappointed. all the meats were very dry. ok flavor but very dry. with the reviews and all, i expected much better. oh well!!! probably will not try this again. there is better here in phoenix.
My bf and I both got the sampler plate. The pork and brisket were decent, but the smoked sausage was under smoked and tasted like hill shire farms. They up charged for tiny cornbread muffins that tasted like jiffy.
