Surprised. After reading reviews about this restaurant I was apprehensive, reviews were mixed to say the least. I had the pescatore and she had the tortellini de Angelo. Both dishes were better than expected. The pescatore was LOADED with seafood and more than half of the tortellini had to be boxed up. The reviews said the service was poor but that was not my experience at all. They said the manager was rude but she seemed nice to me. When our server was running food to another table the manager came by and refilled our drinks. I had an overall pleasent experience and I will be back.
Poor Service & RUDE MANAGER. We went to the one on 7th St. & Union Hills. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not enough wait staff, bus boys taking drink & food orders (DID NOT TURN OUT WELL) It took over an hour from when we ordered to the food arriving at our table. The food was definitely NOT worth the wait!!! The manager was RUDE to the customers & wait staff, very very controlling of the wait staff, to the point one waitress, snapped back at her. Food was mediocre, especially for the price!! WE WILL NOT RETURN
We liked it – the insalata Di Mare and Angel Pasta Arrabiatta with Sausage. Could have been more variety of craft beers (like a stout or porter) offered.
HORRIBLE Customer Service! Silly me thinks that they would want to accommodate the customer! When I requested to speak with the manager, she was rude! Our server ( I use that term loosely) never came back after taking our order! We had to ask another guy there for refills and he was less than enthusiastic to assist us! This was a restaurant we frequented often but never will again!
Delicious!. Went to Times Square on the recommendation of a friend for our anniversary. The eggplant parmesan was outstanding! Great food, casual and affordable! Just my type of restaurant. Friendly staff that seemed very happy to be at work and happy to serve us. We’ll definitely be back.
Not the Best. We started with a very sad bowl of minestrone soup. The soup was very watery and only had falling apart over cooked vegetables in it. No beans or pasta was in their variation of minestrone. We had salads with chicken. The greens were just iceberg and the vegetables were just old canned and or bottled. The chicken was seasoned nice but was very dry. The dressing tasted bottled.
The Best Pizza. There are a lot of great pizza places in the Valley. Spinatos, Venetizas and NYPD. However if you want true East Coast Pizza….Times Square is beyond a shadow of a doubt the best. Sliced Italian Sausage….not ground beef ….ugh…along with Pepperoni…. is amazing. Its a small place so not a big place but the pastas, deserts are simply wonderful. Great prices as well. There is no other…Stop by there…you wont regret it
