DO NOT VISIT THIS RESTAURANT – OWNERS ARE RUDE AND SELF INDULGENT ~ DON’T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS. IF I COULD HAVE GIVEN THEM NO STARS, I WOULD HAVE DONE THAT! DO NOT COME HERE!!! We had a bad experience in the Bell Rd location, I came home and sent an e-mail complaint in and was IGNORED! I sent in a second complaint and was sent back a LONG letter attacking my complaint in the first place. I have news for these OWNERS- With customer service like this you will close soon. One thing BILL said to me was no one else complained about that nights service. I can tell you with complete confidence, no one else may have complained but I guarantee there were other people that will just not come back. THE LETTER THAT CAME BACK WAS RUDE, AGGRESSIVE, SELF INDULGENT AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Terrible that they have such an inflated self ego that they do not care and even worse yet feel inclined to attack anyone who did not like their experience at this establishment. Shame on Bill and Janie RIddleValle Luna just lost our business. Never-mind that they would not accept the Restaurants.com certificate from Valle Luna…the service sucked and the food was bland and tasteless. We have been customers at Valle Luna on Bell Rd for years, and the service and food is steadily declining. Our waitress had no personality, was barely friendly, put her fingers and a potholder in our meals, our drink cups and the chips and salsa were empty most of the time. The enchilada sauce was completely bland tasted like it was strait from a can. Barely any meat in the taco or tamales. The kids plates could not be considered a meal, maybe a snack, but definitely not worth 4.50. On this visit we did not have to wait to be seated, like we normally do, and I think I can see why, if the food and service are this bad all the time now it is not worth the money. I think the only thing keeping them in business is the happy hour drinks and menus.I will not be going back again, Valle Luna you just lost a customer. I will be going to Manual’s, or Macayo’s, or any one of the other Mexican restaurants in Phoenix. I don’t need to pay through the nose for bad service and so so food.

Very good food!! Would like to see queso dip, not just the cheese crisp.

Consistently Good. We’ve eaten at Valle Luna dozens of times over the years. Very good Sonoran (American style) food. Large portions and consistently good. You will not go away hungry! They serve their beer ice cold!!! Often very busy, but they have a lot of seating so any waits are usually not long.

Pass on this dirty noisy place. Unfriendly except for waitress. Dirty everything. Floors tables everything dirty. Server took my glass away for a refill holding it against a dirty glass from another table. I did not get a fresh glass but my old one back refilled…yuck. I was in back room that looked like a supply closet. Food was tasteless. I am never going back.

The interior isn’t all that pretty but it adds a certain Mexican style rustic charm to the establishment! Wed after 5 is the best time to go for greatly reduced prices! The food is excellent it’s the real deal for Sonoran style food. The combo meals are defintely the best value for the buck! I was not disappointed with the flavor at all and I’m a 4 star certified chef and I can assure you the food is excellent! The only complaint is the salsas. The house salsa needs to be fresh made with some zing and the hot sauce should be hotter!03 Mar, 2011The server was very professional and upbeat! The pick two lunch special was a little oily but overall it was very good. The shredded beef had a very nice smokey flavor to it and overall food was very good. The presentation was also very well and good!

Great food at reasonable prices. Every Wednesday after 5pm they offer the majority of their menu at greatly reduced prices. And the most important thing at a Mexican Restaurant is the chips & salsa! Very tasty! This local family owned restaurant has been in the valley for several decades, and I personally love the decor at each location I’ve been to! Be warned…they do get busy during the dinner rush so get they early, or be prepared to wait about 20 min. Or get seated in the Cantina where they still offer full menu service. All in all you won’t be disappointed!

Service is great, atmosphere is nice. Unfortunately, the food lacks flavor and spicy must cost extra, because even their hot salsa, was missing the hot.
