This restaurant is very good, came after I saw it on DDD and loved it, got the breakfast BLT and it was perfect, also had the egg quesadilla and it was awesome, only down side was service, too busy.
Not that great. I don’t know what al the local fuss is about. Must be the same people that like the bland and boring La Fonda. Brandy’s has totally lackluster food and baked goods. Not terrible but not a place I care to go back to. Been there twice since I moved to Flag in 2004 and will probably never go back.
We really like this place for breakfast. Martannes is our fave local breakfast joint, but this place is great too. The big pancakes are the best in town, and the Eggs Jose is really good with avocado added to it. Lunch isn’t bad either – good sandwiches, soups, and fries. The baked goods and coffee drinks at the front counter are also excellent. I have never cared for dinner here. We have probably had 50 breakfasts here, and breakfast is where it’s at. The service here is always excellent.
Good pancakes. My parents went here for breakfast twice during a 1 week visit. They have fluffy and light pancakes (we liked the regular pancakes more than the apple oat) and creative versions of eggs benedict. We had one with red peppers and spinach and another with crab and both were pretty good. Potatoes are a bit dry and prices are a bit high.
Gluten Free approved. Ate here for breakfast and they were very knowledgeable about making meals gluten free. Ate the fiesta eggs with the potatoes and had no problem as a celiac. My friend who is not a celiac got the poached eggs and LOVED them. I felt very comfortable eating here on a gluten free allergy diet and it was delicious.
Pancakes were full of blueberries and the French toast was very good as well. Nice selection of warm drinks.
One of the worst breakfasts I’ve had in months. The potatoes were dry and covered in rosemary. The eggs were cheap and oily and the sausage was no bueno. They also did not have bacon on their menu which was insanity! Despite the food service was good.
