Loved the Fish Tacos!. Had the chance to stop by one rainy day in August (2011) and happened by the cafe on a road-trip to the canyon. Delicious and original recipes, excellent decor and super polite staff. I had the fish tacos (red snapper) and a homemade brownie and loved every bite.Next time I am stateside and passing through, I will be stopping again!

Caf up there. It’s not out-of-the way, it’s on the way. Rather than attempt to spoon rhapsodically I’ll just say the soups (chili chicken my personal favorite) and the house salad alone could sustain a person nutritionally and otherwise. Now the enchiladas, in haute cuisine style, (and huge), mashed into the soup, (the horrors), especially the aforementioned or the pinto bean, will have you sweating ecstasy. The emotion, not the drug. There is no better food in town.

Hot soup in winter and Fish Tacos the rest of the time!. Caf Daily Fare is hands down my favorite lunch joint in Flag, and as the crew there says: it’s only hard to find the first time! From the ever-changing selection of delicious soups and sides to the revamped staples like the Simply Delicious Club or the Meatball Marinara, Daily Fare offers up a menu that will satisfy the pickiest and hungriest of us all! And they didn’t forget the vegetarians and vegans out there either! The cafe has always got a few treats on the menu for you healthy types.

Gourmet lunch!. A lot of lunch places in Flagstaff offer the same menu: tuna salad sandwich, turkey sandwich, veggie burger safe dishes that cater to those carloads of tourists stopping by on their way to the Grand Canyon. But as a regular to this here parts, I’m always looking for something a little different. DAILY FARE, the restaurant side of SIMPLY DELICIOUS catering, is the perfect answer to that. How excited was I when I saw this on the menu! Blackberry-marinated duck tacos with freshly torn arugula, which lent a nice green bite, dressed with goat cheese and habanero aioli. Savory and sweet at the same time! But the best part was the jicama and pumpkin seeds: creative additions that provided a great crunch to the whole ensemble. Gourmet food for lunch on a Tuesday in Flagstaff. The sides were just as satisfying, especially the house salad with a curried citrus vinaigrette. I loved the dressing so much I bought an 8 oz. container of it to take home for $4! And that’s the other cool thing about being a catering company as well as a cafe. You can pick housemade entrees, sides, or condiments to add to your own pantry or refrigerator.Other local favorites: the meatball sub (almost always gets sold out) and the daily enchilada!

Soooo Good. This food is fresh, tasty, and delicious. It can take an ordinary simple dish and with seasoning or a little twist make it amazing. I love the diversity of the menu selections. Staff is friendly, service efficient, and the atmosphere/decor is warm and tasteful–great artwork. My new favorite lunch spot–I LOVE this place!

Hard to find, heavenly food. Daily Fare is the cafe/deli arm of the superb catering company, Simply Delicious. Fabulous fresh food using local produce when possible and always outstanding taste. Open only from 11-6 pm and in an awkward location, it is cozy inside, great staff, and the food…. The blackberry marinated duck tacos make me whimper! That is what I eat 90% of the time but now they have added the same duck to a salad, next on my tasting list. I make a point to drive into Flag and eat here at least once a week.
