Was told by locals it was the bom. Little did I know they were right. Nothing to write home about. Fries were not hot, burger was on an English muffin. Flavor was ok but the staff were slammed and there was no where to sit.
Friendly staff, but I was not impressed with the food at all. Considering the burgers are recommended medium-rare, I ordered medium, the duration was rather lengthy in my opinion. So I would not recommended this place if you are in a hurry. The fries had little to no flavor. The grill cheese was pretty good though. Good luck!
Great burger. Food came out supper fast. The place is kinda small but I actually enjoyed the small environment. I recommend the DB House. I didn’t mind the cost. Organic free range 6 oz beef on every burger.
This is a hole in the wall in downtown Flagstaff, but definitely worth the trip. You’re going to pay a little more for the burgers here, but it’s a small, local business and they’re worth every penny. The seasoning on the fries wasn’t my favorite, but overall this is a great place to eat.
Great Burger, Inexperienced Staff. Great stop for a great burger. Fresh local beef that is cooked medium rare on an english muffin. They are a bit overpriced ($30 for two burgers) and the place itself is small as heck, but an interesting experience in some way. My issue is with the young staff that really needs the presence of an experienced adult manager who knows what they are doing. As I was eating my burger, part of the frilled stick they use to hold the burger together got lodged in my throat. I went outside and coughed it by sticking my fingers down my throat. I came back in and told the one girl at the counter. To her defense, she was sweet and concerned and told the rest of the staff. They just starred at me and never once asked me how I was (they were clueless on what to do). She offered me a free beer for compensation (for choking). I’m sorry.. but when someone is choking you make sure they don’t need medical attention first and then you refund their order. This what experienced restaurants do. You make a good burger Diablo, but taking care of the customer comes first. foodartandculture.com
