We have been on a three week road trip that has taken us through Louisiana, Texas, and New Mexico. Comparing Mexican dishes has been a treat. Las Gorditas is one of the stand outs. The salsa bar offered a fantastic variety of flavors and temperatures. The service was ultra-friendly and fast. My carne asada made my taste buds do there happy dance. The other dishes our group had were just as good. An excellent choice for the evening
Mexican Combo plate was delicious. No chewy chunks of meat, just tender and tasty. The chips were pretty basic and not fresh/warm. The mild salsa mixed with the hot salsa was really good. I ordered an Horchata drink but it was subpar and lacked the creamy, cinnamon flavor I’ve had at other Mexican restaurants. Overall great place to eat.

Delicious and NOT closed!. I ate there today (and earlier in the week)! I highly recommend the gorditas carnitas and adovadas, which are both incredibly delicious, but I have also had the tostadas and they are good. Great variety of salsas on the salsa bar. Start with one gordita before ordering more unless you are very hungry- they are very filling! The prices are extremely affordable.
