Hidden gem here. My party was passing through and decided to give it a whirl. Food was creative and fantastic! Service was attentive and personal. Appears to be some really good natured people making it happen in the restaurant business. You will not be disappointed! Try it and see.
NOT GOOD. Horrible service. Overpriced food. (you pay for butter for your bread) Rude owners. Uncomfortable seating. Limited menu. Not nearly as good as they claim to be by any stretch. Definitely not the best in town.
AMAZING . this ex New Yorker has died and gone to heaven . We will happily drive 2 hours from Phx. to enjoy this fabulous restaurant often !
Coppa Cafe is by far the absolute best restaurant in Flagstaff. Both Paola and Bryan create original, local, seasonal pastries and entrees. Their passion for real food is obvious when you talk to them about the menu. Between growing sprouts and edible flowers & curing their own meats in house & buying their meats locally from a ranch that treats the animals traditionally and humanly, the passion they have for their restaurant is undeniable and refreshing. If you’re looking for a relaxing, traditional European cafe, stop by for lunch or brunch, and return for a elegant & creative dinner with a totally different dining experience! Overall Coppa offers new, surprising and innovative treats stop by and say hi, you’ll notice right away they’re the real deal!
Fantastic, authentic food and wonderful service. Coppa Cafe is a real treat and definitely a good value for an outstanding meal. The owner is gracious and attentive. We had moules frites and steak frites… excellent!!! The drinks and desserts were perfect. This is a really cute place with a great vibe and awesome French music… we felt transported to France.01 Jul, 2012FANTASTIC European Experience
Charm Undermined by Horrid Service. I consider myself an aficionado of great food. I’ve dined throughout France (and many other corners of the world) so was quite excited to hear of a French inspired cafe in Flag. While Coppa offers a charming menu, what could be a charming cozy spot is undermined by trite decor and horrid service. My partner and I visited the locale twice. The first time we brushed off the impertinent service due to the late hour we were there. Well today, on our second visit with relatives, we were treated with service that could only be interpreted as being unwelcome. The server (same one as the first visit) was curt, served others who came after us first, snapped at us when asked how much longer we’d be waiting for our order (we did not expect quick service, but we did expect attentive service, which we did not receive) then never followed up to see if we wanted anything else. That said, we will NOT be visiting this establishment again and we would recommend others to steer clear.
BEST restaurant in Flagstaff. Coppa Cafe is without question the best restaurant in Flagstaff for the diner looking for sophisticated, imaginative menu, eclectic decor and wonderful staff. The chefs are very talented, with experience in some of the best restaurants in the world. Flagstaff is so lucky to have this place, we can only hope they choose to stay. So glad to see they received a ‘Best of Flagstaff’ award already for their desserts. Happy to see they are so busy already as well.
