AWESOME, AUTHENTIC BBQ. Hickory’s does it right! Their meats are all so juicy, tender and flavorful. You can smell the smoke from several blocks away! Their sides are so so good and all made fresh and from scratch. Try this place before any other bbq place in town….it’s by far and away the best!
I almost didn’t come here because of the rating. It was so good! I consider myself a Barbeque snob, and this restaurant is in my top three of Barbeque places between CA and Texas. We will be eating here often.
Pleasantly Surprised. Always glad to see new restaurants in Flag. Had the baby back ribs and they were delish. Restaurant was decorated simple and modern and I thought the prices were average ($9-$15). Similar to Stachmo’s as far as menu and price. I would go back, good luck!
This place certainly dressed for success, however; the food did not match.. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and receive what seemed to be their interpretation of what a pulled pork sandwich was. This was an uncoated pile of mildly dry pork topped with thick BBQ sauce.. I found myself adding more and more BBQ sauce with each bite in order to swallow. Flavor the meal did have, prep the meal lacked. I do have hope for the restaurant if they can get a better grasp of how to make popper BBQ.
