Hot wok has become one of the most restaurants I go to with my friends. I love the service, the food is always fresh. I don’t think many people know about Hot Wok because of where it is, but I would highly recommend it. I would say it’s better than the Chinese buffets and it serves a lot, the prices are great as well.
I don’t know what those other negative reviews were all about, I like it. I have gotten food from these guys like at least a dozen times, and it’s always been pretty good. The hot pork dumplings are awesome. I went to the trouble of writing this to combat all those haters. Sure it’s not mind-blowing, but it’s pretty gosh-darn good. And cheap
Terrible food. Hot Wok Express is a terrible restaurant. I ordered pork won ton soup and kung pao chicken. The soup looked like dish water and was flavorless. The won tons were undercooked, gooey noodles with no pork. The kung pao had tiny bits of again undercooked, rubbery chicken. The restaurant looked dirty. I will never go here again.
WARNING!. Worst order out experience i’ve ever had. food arrived spilled everywhere. okay, i can accept that. i start to eat the half meal that was left and… i get a sliver of metal caught in my teeth. i called back twice during the ordeal and got treated VERY poorly by several staff that didn’t seem to understand basic customer service skills. no apology and i was told they’d be back with a replacement of 1 meal. 50 minutes later the other remaining food at my table is ice cold and people are afraid to eat and ingest metal. a replacement meal never arrives. i call back and they say they were confused about which meal to cook, so they cooked nothing. finally got my money back almost two hours after my original order and ended up eating nothing.perhaps other people are used to this sort of thing, but i wouldn’t think of doing anything less than apologizing sincerely, replacing the meals as quick as possible, and giving a full refund. sharp metal in food is a dangerous mistake and i don’t know how a business owner could sleep at night without handling the situation with the fullest respect of the customer. that was not the case here.
Best In Town?. I’ve been living in flagstaff for the past two years. Within these two years I have tried my fair share of the chinese resturants here in town. I found that unlike the other chinese resturants here in town, Hot Wok is authentic. They have actual chinese chefs cooking for you in an open kitchen so you know how and what they are doing. You can see the ingredents they use and they use really fresh ingredents. All and all i prefer Hot Wok over the other resturants here.
Worst Chinese Cusine in Flagstaff. When I moved to Flagstaff and found a Chinese restaurant that offered delivery I was excited. The food was bland, microwave options from the grocery store are better. The fried rice was rice with soy sauce. I was very disappointed.
