Authentic Mexican food from the original owners of los altos. Tacos los altos is a great restaurant, we have 2 of them in flagstaff, the one on the east side was sold to the current owners years ago by the founders Javier and Liliana (they also sold all the old recipes). However the old owners missed the restaurant so they opened a new location on the West side in a little strip mall by walmart, EVERYTHING is better at the west side location (don’t get me wrong the east side los altos is good just not the same). some examples are: the salsa’s are awesome all of them and they have a guacamole salsa that is fire! (great), they make all there tortillas in house even little flour ones for carna asada, ect. the carnitas a made with a better quality cut of pork so they taste much better, more garlic, more flavor , ect….. The only con is they are a little more expensive than the east side Altos, and its a little out of the way, Find it and compare for yourself food is always better when you get it from the OG chef.
