Kyle runs a primo bar!
Love hate with this place. I love the happy hour and their martinis.I don’t think the food to eat other than happy hour is worth the price. The service is horrible and the staff really don’t know what they are doing. I asked for meat rare and the chef went through the roof, saying no place will cook rare meat. Not true, chef. If you’re going to gamble at the casino, stop by for happy hour and try a flatbread or burger with martini or beer. good prices, and you decide.
Ahnala Mesquite Room – Radisson. The restaurant is very nice but the food is a bit different. I ordered a corn soup, they came out with the a large diameter soup plate and put some pop corn (very cheesy) in the middle of the plate then preceded to pored in some soup, just enough to cover the plate, there was so little I barely was able to pick it up in my spoon. For my main entrees I ordered a $75 special that consisted of two main courses and desert. The thing that caught my eye with this special was Duck. The duck turned out to be some kind of pate type of duck, around one inch square. The second thing that caught my eye was Rack of Boar; I could not wait for that. Well it never came out, I asked a lady working there to explain what I just was served and where was the Rack of Boar. She told me the special that I ordered was for next week and she was sorry. I told her you are charging me for something I did not order and served me something I did not order. She just told me she was sorry. We asked if they would just take it off the bill and be done with it, she again told me she was sorry and she would take off $40, this $40 was the waitress tip. We went over and gave the waitress a tip anyway. We now asked to talk to the manager, the lady we were telling this to happened to be the manager, a manager with no customer service experience. We were very disappointed with this issue; the food we did get was not bad, but not my kind of restaurant. When I go out for dinner I would like to know what I am getting, I like to see that it is some kind of bird, not a pate.
