Decided to make an exception on my no-chain-restaurant policy. Walked in on a Thursday morning and was seated promptly. Our server, Steven, was super friendly. Our first round of coffee was tepid, but the pot that was left on the table was nice and hot. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. Hubby ordered his usual, chicken fried steak and eggs. Both came out quickly and looked so delicious, I dug in before getting a quick pic. The biscuits were tender and the gravy, full of flavor. The gravy was a bit different from what I’ve seen before. Instead of loose sausage, links were used. A little strange for my taste but definitely not a deal breaker. Hubby’s potatoes were golden and crispy. The rest is a mystery to me, for all I could snatch off his plate was a tater or two. Overall, the place is clean and tries really hard to be cozy. I gave it a 3 since I’m big on vibe. Not much going on here.

Good breakfast food. I came here with some friends for a late breakfast. I tried their SOS and it was good, but not really the same as the military meal since this was chipped beef instead of ground beef. The eggs and hashbrowns were good. Last time I had the chicken fried steak and will probably go back to that. The friends enjoyed their white omelet and french toast. The coffee was good and so was the service. I would go back.
Forgot to mention the vents are visibly dirty and the food is overpriced. Certain TV personalities that make shows about restaurants in trouble would have a field day with this one…23 Nov, 2013Everything was rubbery, and from a can. Whoever said that it was fresh made obviously is confused by what that actually means. Corned beef hash should not be ground to the point of unrecognizable food. The biscuit was good, however, it looks suspiciously like a little doughboy made it and encased it in a cardboard tube. The restaurant was severely understaffed. Not going back.
We went for breakfast, greasy! The gravy for the biscuits was sort of off tasting. Stopped at the second bite. The omelette was over cooked, and brown on the outside. I make way better at home… To bad. Not going back.
Love it. You wait a little longer for your food because everything is made fresh. But it is only a couple of minutes longer than a restaurant that has premade food and it is worth the wait. I had breakfast and my husband had lunch. We both enjoyed very much. Restaurant is very clean and wait staff polite.
If you get there around 9,10am you’ll be waiting 20-45 minutes for a table. It’s rare to find a place with corned beef hash that’s NOT canned, and theirs is definitely fresh made. Their portions are large, interior is clean, and staff is knowledgeable & attentive. Customer service was surprisingly good despite it being their busiest hour. It’s smaller than it appears from the outside but it was almost entirely booths which made for no fear of being bumped by passers by.
