My wife and I happened upon this restaurant by accident today. We were in the neighborhood shopping at Total Wine and more. We planned on buying some booze and then hitting up another taco spot on the way back to our condo. We were both really hungry and noticed Cantina Laredo. We decided to give it a try. The outdoor seating is quite nice and comfortable which is great because a person needs a lot of time to get through the menu. It is huge… too huge. After much deliberation, I decided on pork tacos while my wife chose the beef. Each plate came with two so we decided to share. I found the pork to be overly salty and the beef to be dry. In other cities, the tacos would be fine…. but Phoenix sets the standard and they didn’t meet the mark. However, my wife really enjoyed her white honey sangria and the chips and salsa were really good. I would try this restaurant again if in the same situation. However, I would try something different and get a specialty cocktail instead of a Bud Light.
PEWWWWW!. I thought the atmosphere was nice, chips and salsa were the only good. We got the cheese dip with mystery meat. Unknown of what kind of meat and cheese was cold and very liquidity. Also got the chicken quesadilla, once again cold and dry chicken. Wouldn’t go again and would not recommend.
