Increible. I have been to many places in town but by far this was the best.. espeically since happy hour is at night as where most business do only lunch specials…. best place ever!!!!!!!!!
Went for happy hour- great prices and amazing service. My only complaint is that if you don’t like sushi your only other choices for sides are white rice or soup with their noodle entrees.
GREAT Sushi! UNDERRATED!. I’ve eaten sushi all over the world. The Four Seasons is excellent quality! The quality of the sushi is better than anywhere I’ve eaten in the Valley. Very underrated. Four Seasons is a gem in the East Valley.don’t hesitate to give them a shot.
Lady Bug Roll. A friend of mine raves about this place so since I was in the area, I decided to check it out. Their happy hour isn’t anything special. Mainly appetizers and no sushi rolls. Their sushi rolls are dirt cheap so you don’t even need to go during happy hour. My favorite roll was the LadyBug. Try it! It’s delicious. We ordered 6 rolls and 1 drink and walked away stuffed and under 40 bucks. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. Convenient location, right off the freeway. Place was packed too, always a good sign.
The best sushi in the east valley, amongst the best in the state. Yesterday, we went to a restaurant called Four Seasons Sushi and Grill. This place gets me more because of the value, its an independent resto with a charismatic owner, and that pretty much any sushi puts me in a state of bliss. Walking in, the interior also looks great, light brown bamboo (okay, faux, but it still looks nice, not sickeningly shiny/plasticy) playing off of a sleek and modern looking light blue walls, various but subdued yet tasteful Asian decorations, and best of all, a smile from the chef-owner that exudes a quiet confidence that says goddamn I am good at what I do.I played the total glutton today and was responsible for about 3/4 of our bill. I had the sushi lunch combination B, which is tuna, yellowtail, salmon, shrimp nigiri and then a spicy tuna roll. This also came with miso soup and a house salad, which were pedestrian but satisfactory. The flavors of each type of sushi was very vibrant, with the salmon being my favorite of the bunch. I’m normally not a shrimp lover but it was truly excellent as well today for me, sweetness and succulence expressed in a bit of rice and shrimp! $7 for that.8/10 (dropped it a point due to boring salad and miso soup)I forget the name of the other roll I had, but it was a very spicy roll, with jalapeno slices and roe on top, a mayo-wasabi sauce, and the interior was spicy tuna with avocado and cucumber. A lot was going on flavor wise, and with sushi I usually like the simple flavors, but the spice was complemented perfectly by the creamy avocado, crunchy cucumber. I’ll admit the roe didn’t do much for me, but hey, it looks cool. This 8 piece roll was only 6.50, which I thought was a great value.9.5/10 (Really flavorful with a nice kick to it)The tamago sushi was Toni’s. So I guess we can say she has had egg and chicken sushi. It feels like cheating somehow, but I don’t care, it lets me go out and have lunch with my tai tai. I had a nibble and it tasted like sweet egg. Can’t say I loved that. 5/10 (It tasted like it was supposed to I guess. Just not my thing)Just a quick note on these shumai. They tasted like they swiped it from the frozen section of Fry’s. And the portion size for $5 (3.5 during happy hour)? If you can’t tell from the photo the surface area is less than a quarter. Wow. But luckily the other stuff at this restaurant is so good I don’t mind lining their pockets.3/10 (Edible, but very over priced and miniscule portion)Ah. And then there was gyoza. Originally ordered for Toni as a non-sushi filling lunch, I snagged one and it quickly escalated into war. She won, getting 4 gyoza to my one. A right demoness she is with those chopsticks. I was helpless before her chopsticky mastery. After eating everything else, I could not leave the battle unresolved, and ordered a second portion. These juicy, plump, incredibly crispy and incredibly lacking in oiliness packets of perfection definitely deserved an encore. 10/10 (Seriously the best I’ve ever had.)Overall rating, 9/10. Visit this place, you definitely won’t regret it!
I have been going to Four Seasons Sushi for over a year and always have been impressed with the quality of sushi and service. They have recently dropped prices and now are litterally the best place for sushi in Gilbert or Mesa!!!!
