It’s a seafood bar and grill but the fried chicken is better than the seafood! The atmosphere is fun but a bit overpriced for what is offered. Minimal choices and long waits
As a Pacific Northwest transplant I was so excited to find an AZ restaurant that served fresh oysters on the half shell and they did not disappoint. Had the half dozen of fresh Kusshis from Vancover Island. The vinegar garlic sauce was my favorite. The lobster bisque and beet salad were very good. The kids menu is a smoking deal along with the soup and salad. Not a fan of the King steamer pot. It is more of a pasta dish rather than a seafood pot, but our server said in the future we could sample the sauces of each pot dish to see if it was to our taste. The decor and service was light, fresh and friendly. Can’t wait to come for happy hour for more oyster shooters.
Just AWFUL. I never leave reviews, but I had to create an account because my experience was THAT BAD. I don’t know why there are so many 5 star reviews.Don’t let the looks fool you.The decor might be nice, but the food and service was not. My fiance and I heard the buzz about this place, so we decide to stop by and try. For a seafood place, it is NOT much of a seafood menu. Yes, there are clams, mussels, crab, etc., but the only fish that they have is the cod for the fish and chips and the salmon. Um…where in the world is the ahi, tilapia, and other variety of fish that would typically be at a seafood restaurant? The menu had burgers, fried chicken, and even pork. I also did not know that we had to ask for bread. Our server would just keep bringing two at a time. The cocktails were underwhelming and the beignets were bland, even with the chocolate sauce. I do not really remember who our server was, they barely came to the table to check on us. Our refills of water took forever and I saw that they were cutting lemons right next to the kitchen with no gloves. The bar manager came by and acted like he knew us and just was annoying. A lady came by, apologizing but did it in such a fake and condescending way, it was offending. I have no idea what role she played when it came to management, but that is not how you have customers returning. The service seemed force and faked. 0/10 would not recommend anyone to come here.
Best seafood West of the Mississippi. Moving to Arizona from Massachusetts 10 years ago we have often looked for a seafood restaurant that could compete with those on the East coast. The search is over. High Tide Seafood Bar and Grill is excellent. From their Clam Chowder and pan seared Halibut, service and decor, this restaurant has it all. It will be a weekly visit.
High Tide Seafood Bar & Grill Check it Out. This restaurant is bright and airy. The starters were quite delicious and they had whole chicken wings, quite a treat and unusual in Arizona. They were very good. Happy hour was lively with good music and very good service and prices.
Great!!!. Absolutely fabulous! Not your typical menu. Very different and it is clear they have a real artist for a chef, not just a cook. This is our new favorite restaurant. They made us feel like we were important to them, like our patronage really mattered.
Este. My wife and I have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. The seafood is fresh and the portions are large. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The only negative is that the place has gotten very popular over the past few weeks and we get there early to assure we can be seated. The steam pot cooking method is great. It incorporates all of the flavors of the meats (fish) and spices in the dish and makes for an amazing meal. They have several craft beers on tap, a nice wine selection and happy hour every week day until 6:00 pm. An excellent addition to East Valley sea food restaurants. I think it’s the best in the Valley.
