Just ok, a solid 3 out of 5. Brisket was dry, Bbq sauce wasn’t special, Turkey jalapeno sausage about store bought grade. Pulled pork was a 4 out of 5. There famous root beer cake didn’t even taste like root beer much. I had high expectations from the reviews. Maybe in Gilbert area Bbq is hard to come by?
We met a group here for an early dinner. You get in the long line and order your food. My wife had a Jumbo Baker (baked potato) with Turkey Jalapeno Sausage. She found it OK, but nothing special. She also had a root beer float, which others were raving about, and found it good, but not great. I had the BBQ Sampler Plate with a side of coleslaw. Some of the BBQ choices were very good, some just OK. The coleslaw was decent. By the time we left the lines were very long. Neither of us could see why it was so popular, it was decent, but not great.
