I really enjoyed Lo-Lo’s! First time ever having chicken and waffles and it was so good! I’d go back again! I got the original Lo-Lo’s Chicken and Waffles (couldn’t eat it all). I recommend the fruit punch kool-aid or the homemade lemonade (super sweet though) and drinks come in big ol’ mason jars which made me fall in love with it even more!
We have attempted to eat here twice. The first time we waited over an hourand they sata party that had just arrived telling us that it wad the owner. The hostess had led to us so we left. The second time we went it took over 30 min just to order drinks. We them waited for over an hour just to get 2 or of 3 meals. Mine took another 45 minutes. The chicken tasted over done and not a good meal over all. Would not recommend this location to anyone.
Kitchen Nightmares. Lo-Lo’s has really grown to be well-known to Arizona with locations now at the airport and at Chase Field. Unfortunately this recent location in Gilbert is severely lacking and the owners need to address its many problems. I usually like to wait a few months till after a restaurant opens to make my opinion so that they can work out the kinks. You pull up any food app and all the reviews say the same thing – long wait or kitchen backed up. We were first met with all types of confusion at the hostess area. As you walk through the restaurant you can’t help but notice that it feels very packed in. Our wait to be seated wasn’t too long, but it did take close to ten minutes to be acknowledged by the server. Even though food took about 45 minutes, the server did tell us that the kitchen was very backed up (on a Thursday night). When we got the food, some of it was luke-warm and we didn’t get our full order. So we had to wait another 15 minutes to get the rest of our order. No discount was offered but instead I got a very unsympathetic apology for the long wait. I love the food here, but I hope Lo-Lo’s isn’t expanding so quickly that they are forgetting about good customer service. foodartandculture.com
Won’t be coming back…. An hour wait to be seated and an hour plus wait for food in addition to the horribly wobbly tables. This place is awful and I won’t be returning.
2 1/2 hour wait at 2:30 in aftetnoon#. Went in and place is 1/2 empty but was told it would be 2 and 1/2 hours before we could be setted!!! Told the kit hen was behind (what an understatement)…Love the one in Scottsdale but I doubt we will ever go to this one again. They should be embarrassed! As an aside the girls at the front didn’t seem to care one way or the other. They were happy just standing around. What mess.
Oh my!. 2 pm on Saturday. Half the tables are empty. 2-1/2 hour wait. Kitchen is backed up. It’s not like they are new to this business. Really?
We waited 20 minutes to get a table when the restaurant was half empty and the staff were just standing around talking to each other. They served drinks to tables seated after us while we waited 15 min for a drink order and another 10 for the drinks, a water and a Pepsi. The food, two #3s, took an additional 45 min to get there. Slow service, lackadaisical staff, and no concern whatsoever for the inadequate service. Good food, though.
