  Not very good. They close at 9pm, we got there at 8pm and they were already closing down, seemed annoyed we came in. The carne asada tacos meat was totally burned, hard as a rock! The fish tacos tasted like microwaved slimy fish. I could have gotten better and cheaper food at Filabertos. Not worth going back.

  3 Chicken Flautas, Mexican rice, refried beans. 8.99The Chicken Flautas were like small chicken taquetos made with small corn tortillas, and not flour tortillas, no shredded lettuce on top, no queso fresco on top, no creama or guacamole, or salsa on top…? What’s up? Excellent agua fresca Watermelon water!AZ Burrito, Mexican rice, refried beans 9.99 Huge Burrito made with fresh flour handmade in-house tortilla, papas and carne asada, and guacamole. Excellent! The Mexican rice on both plates was way over cooked. Refried beans are made in-house, and were good. No service to table, you have to pick up your own plates from the counter, lunch style. It was not busy we were the only ones in the restaurant at 12:45 am. The menu that was give to us to look at was sticky and dirty, with stuck on food… gross! The tables were clean, as was the rest of the restaurant. We felt it was a bit pricy for food quality and the No service that you got. Considering there is great So Cal Baja Style fish & shrimp tacos just up the street with service and a great price. As for the Guadalajara style… Still waiting…. We will not be back. Ps. We do not work at the fish taco place, we just like great service with an awesome price for things.

  Good food, lousy service. We stopped in after driving by for years. The food is very good, though not stellar. The woman at the counter taking orders was a little apathetic, though she got the job done. We ordered desert, and even though they had big signs announcing empanadas, she told us they were out. We ordered something else, and they were out of that, too. She wasn’t apologetic at all, acting annoyed that we were trying to order. Finally we found something they had in stock and it was good. Overall it was enjoyable, but they need to lose the attitude.

  Great neighborhood mexican food. This is the best mexican food I’ve eaten in Gilbert. From the start I must say, please don’t come here expecting too much as far as service goes, usually it’s a one or two man operation. You come here for the food, and not for lightening fast service or the spotless tables and chairs, but the food is totally worth it. It is absolutely wonderful. I have been there multiple times since I moved across the street and I have never eaten anything I didn’t thoroughly love, this place has really changed my mind about mexican food. It is very simple and tasty. If you’re wanting something very sophisticated and trendy, you might try a different place. They menus are simple, and so is the set up.For me, I personally recommend the tostada. It is absolutely fantastic. I read a review about it in the AZ Republic and I had to try it. Let me tell you…it is great…loved it. They also have some sweet tasting tacos. I haven’t had better tacos in quite some time. The beans and rice are the perfect accent to the entrees. I would go so far as to say I would order them by themselves and they would still make a nice and tasty meal.
