Better than big chain teppanyaki. We went to Ryu for the first time tonight. The server was great. He brought the different courses at a good pace. The cook was very entertaining and had some tricks I hadn’t seen before. He did a great job of connecting with the kids at the table too. The food was excellent. They server a broad range of vegetables (spinach, broccoli, onion, carrots, potatoes, zucchini). The fried rice tasted really good. The steak was cooked perfectly. We had a fun time and would highly recommend Ryu — even over the big chain place. We definitely plan on coming back again.15 Jan, 2015Better than the big chain teppanyaki. Bad experience! Waiter didn’t know the rolls, so we didn’t get what we ordered they were small and didn’t have any flavor. His response was sorry and the other place he used to work at had a different roll but didn’t even offer to bring the correct or take it off the tab. Everything tasted the same. Then after he said we were there in time for happy hour they charged us full price because we had a restaurant.com gift certificate even though it was clearly on the table.
