Solid Mexican and good homemade fast food
Pretty good fast food. Stopped in after some Xmas shopping, @ 2:30 pm, an off hour.Service was friendly & efficient. Was given chips & salsa and drink to take back to table.In 5 minutes a large plate of chile rellenos, beans ,rice & tortilla were in front of me.Chile Relleno.. just OK, more batter,than chile. Beans pretty good, rice very good.Ten bucks, no regrets.Return visit, 4/17/2010Just want to give credit, where it’s due. After filling up the dreaded SUV at Costco, stopped in for lunch. Once again, the young man at counter took order with a smile.Had a taco/tamale combo. Taco was crunchy, and full of tasty shredded beef. Beans just right, reminded me of my childhood in East L.A. The rice was OK. Tamale stands out! Good size, and full of delicious red chile beef. I just want to commend this place for the pleasant,clean, and friendly atmosphere, and good value.
Working in the same shopping center, I eat here frequently. The food is quite delicious and always made fresh to order, and the staff is always friendly and polite. Get an order of the cinnamon crispies for dessert…you won’t regret it!
