Our favorite neighborhood restaurant. We eat at Thai Chili often, sometimes more than once a week. The food is fresh & delicious, the servers friendly (they remember our favorite dishes), and the restaurant is small and cozy. More than once they have crafted a special dish for us that’s not on the menu. They do a big take – out business.
We were initially looking for spring rolls and my fiance found some on their menu. Once we arrived they greeted us with such a warm welcome. Immediately we knew we would like it there. The atmosphere was very beautiful and inviting, great decor, and lighting. The service was amazing, they have a great sense of speed and quality. We really felt like they cared about us. So we came for spring rolls but ended up getting much more. Everything was very delicious. Now I don’t normally write reviews but this place is awesome all around. Come visit this place!
Love this place!. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Gilbert. I love the curries, especially the green curry. My wife raves about the Pad Siew and Pad Thai. I recently discovered Thai Sizzling Beef and might have found a new favorite. Everything I’ve tried is wonderful. The people there are very nice and helpful and remember my name since I’ve become a relatively regular visitor. Warning – I like pretty hot food and ordering a heat of about 3 is enough for me. At times a 3 is a little mild and at times it is a little bit of a challenge. I think this is testament to the fresh ingredients (sometimes chilis are hotter and sometimes milder). LOVE this place!
GLUTEN FREE on request!!. Thai Chili in Gilbert, AZ Cares about allergies, including Gluten. Their food is absolutely Delicious! They do not up charge for GLUTEN FREE! They will work hard to customize whatever you desire in order to take special precautions with allergies!!!
Rude!. I really like the food at this place, and have been going on a regular basis–both dine-in and take out. However, many times the service has been poor and the servers/owners rude. This last take out is the final straw. When I went to pick up my order, the owner indicated that he didn’t have any order under my name. He finally found it under another name. He then proceeded to argue with me that I gave him a different name (apparently I don’t know who I am). What an idiot. I’m done with that place. There are too many other good Thai places in Gilbert.
Horrible Service doesnt make up for good food.. At Thai Chili I have had absolutely horrible service on multiple occasions. I used to eat at Thai Chili weekly; however the wait staff (one horrible mannered waitress in particular) made has my visits unbearable. I would rather go to a substandard Thai place then step foot in their establishment.
Thai Chili Is Awful. We waited approx 20 minutes after being seated before our order was taken. The food was average at best, no one came to refill our drinks. The servers had no personality and actually bordered on rude. The bill came and it was $53, I provided them with a $25 certificate and my bill still came to $43. I questioned the match and the guy became very defensive and rude, breaking out a calculator and explaining that they auto added $18 tip and of course the tax. Wanting to avoid a scene, I just said okay and attempted to pay. The guy kept talking and was very animated and rude. I didn’t say a word, as we had our kids with us. I paid and left. To my surprise, I look up and the guy from the resteraunt came running out of the building and up to my car banging on my window. I rolled down the window to find out what was wrong, he then accused me of stilling the little pad that the bill comes to the table in. I explained that the pad should be on the table. He stormed off mumbling something in another language. WE WILL NEVER PATRONIZE this business again and would ask all others to avoid as well.
