Lovely, fun, quaint experience! Perfectly delicious and a must for ladies.. Perfect place to take your mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, or girlfriend. The food is amazing. Best chicken salad I’ve ever had. The famous stuffed tomato with pasta salad was perfect lunch. She makes different soups each day to go along with delicious, savory cheddar cheese scones and homemade herb butter. The tea is the finest I’ve had period. I try a different selection each time I go. Desserts are so pretty and the best part is the grandma granddaughter duo that makes you feel loved each time you dine. Down to the beautiful tablecloths and cute little salt and pepper shakers this place doesn’t miss a detail.
Manager Kimberly not willing to work with customers. I attempted to use my living social voucher this afternoon at Kimberly Ann’s Tea Room. Had the pleasure of dealing directly with the manager/owner, Kimberly. Unfortunately, she would not honor my voucher stating that it required 24 hour advance reservation. I asked her to show me where in the fine print this stipulation was listed and when she was unable to find it she stated that it was Living Social’s fault for not including it. Really? Aren’t you in charge of final ad copy as the merchant?? I requested that she apply my voucher to purchase price of anything else on the menu and she refused. I didn’t think that was too much to ask. Now she will have to deal with the negative feedback about her establishment/management practices on the internet. Definitely NOT a smart management decision on her part. Below is an exact copy of fine print on my voucher:the fine printLimit 2 per customer, 2 additional as giftsLimit 1 per table per visitValid Monday through ThursdayExcludes holidays including Valentine’s Day, Easter, and Mothers Day weekendEntire value must be used in a single visit
LOVED IT !!. I have been to this lovely tearoom many times. The food is delicious and served quickly. It is decorated in a charming manner. Due to my acute hearing, I asked if we could be reseated in a room other than the one we were in. (There was a table filled with several people.) Without hesitation we moved to another room, which I greatly appreciated. I make it a point to take all my out-of-town visitors to this tearoom.Thumbs up!
So cute. This is the perfect getaway. It is one of the most charming places I have ever been. The staff is so nice and the food is the perfect accompaniment to all the delicious flavors of tea.
Tea. Terrible customer service. The woman who answers the phone is rude, the food is very blah. This is completely overpriced in every way imaginable. DO NOT waste your time and money here. Do the Az Biltmore or Phoenicians tea for just a tiny bit more money. They deliver above and beyond expectations.
BEWARE! If you buy a coupon from Groupon, LivingSocial, etc., you will NOT be able to select the day of your choice for dining. I tried to select a certain day of the week and was told that no openings were available for months for that day of the week. Of course if you don’t use a coupon, there are PLENTY of openings. BEWARE!
Nice Little Tea House. We have only been here once before and it was a great experience, so surprised to see some of the other reviews. It is a family run business, but we found the servers (grandkids) and cook (grandma) to all be friendly, helpful, and great service provided. I used to live in Scotland and this place is close to an authentic tea house. The tea and all the food was also fresh and yummy. It was not very crowded when we went so not sure if anything changes when it is busy, but we would go again.GROUPON Users: I don’t know why Groupon refuses to fully review and define their offers these days, but they are getting really really lazy about that. If you are using a Groupon, there will be Tax and 15-20% Gratuity added to the bill, over the value of the Groupon, and you should expect to have cash for that cost. The other table by us had no cash and I believe they paid an extra $5 charge to use a card to pay, I had no problem paying the mandatory add-ons as I tipped more than was added anyway, since the kids were all great. But you should be aware of this to avoid any surprises to ruin your visit.
