Don’t Vote For Pedro!. Plain and simple the food was terrible. Two of us left with upset stomachs. We had the chicken enchiladas, chicken picada and two children’s plates. The chicken enchiladas tasted like they came from a can and the chicken picada was very bland and poorly put together (see attached photo). The price that we paid for what we received was outrageous. When we tried to verify the breakdown of the total price because we could not believe we were being asked to pay $50 for our disgusting food the manager would not let me talk and kept repeating herself that the total was correct and so we just left.

A diamond in the ruff…. I got a coupon for Pedro’s and on the coupon it said they served the best chicken taco’s in phx. So we went on in, after a 10min wait. Once we saw the crowd we knew we had found something good. We loved it!! Great chips and salsa, friendly staff and great food. The place is tiny and they should really move to a bigger local, but other than that you will love Pedro’s once you get a table. lol And yes the chicken taco’s were moist and crunchy and *drooling* all around awesome. There salsa is the best i’ve had in phx!! I’ve referred peeps there and they keep going back.
Gringo Food. Sort of bland for Mexican food and overpriced. If your snowbird grandparents come from out of town, this would be a good place to take them.
One of our favorites!. I highly recommend the Mini San Marcos Burro with beans and rice. Just the right size portions if you’re hungry but not starved! I’ve never had a bad meal there, and the service is outstanding! Great value!
Arizona Sytle Mexican. If you want good Arizona style Mexican food, Pedro’s is the place. My family and me have been going here since before I can walk. That is over 30 years. The food has not really changed. They never skimp of ingredients, they just raise the prices and the cost of goods increase. My favorite comfort food is their guacamole cheese crisp. Smothered in cheese and guacamole, yet the tortilla is crisp. Also great is there chimichungas.
