I have always thought Bella Luna was one of the best restaurants out this way! Unfortunately, the last time we went, we were very disappointed. Portion sizes have shrunk considerably. My favorite dish was missing a key ingredient (mussels) and was substituted for clams without notice or an offer to change my order. I am hoping they just had a bad day.

Wonderful. My husband and I are excited to have found a cozy restaurant (not a chain) with great food without having to drive far.

Italian Oasis in the Desert. Fabulous Mediterranean Antipasto and the Veal Piccata was wonderful.

Italian food for Italians. I’m Italian. I cook. My whole family cooks. My fondest memories are of my family’s food. For the most part, I tend NOT to go to Italian places because, honestly, I can do better. But there are places, places that serve food so good, you couldnt or wouldnt want to do it yourself. Christi’s in Orlando, Mama Josephina’s in Boston, these are places you find Italians going for dinner. Add Bella Luna to my list! Veal Parmigiana my grandmother would love! Spaghetti & Meatballs, Cheese Ravioli’s, my kids LOVE! This is the kind of place I will bring relatives who fly in from out of town. One of the best if not the best Italian in the city of Phoenix.

This is my favorite local restaurant. Every meal I’ve ever ordered there has been delicious. My fav is veal w/anchovies. Nice small intimate place, wonderful for special celebrations.

No thanks. I think you have to be over 65 to eat here. That is what the crowd was when I was there, except for me and my friend. Which is fine, but not my type of place yet.Anchovies seems to come on their menu frequently, also not my taste.

Yum-may! Cute, little restaurant. You can sit indoors or outdoors. A friend and I sat inside around 6pm. We were the only ones there. By the time we left at around 7:30pm, the place was packed! The service was very attentive. People came to fill up our water numerous times and cleared our plates away in a timely manner. Our waitress was helpful and even gave suggestions for me, since I’m vegetarian. We ordered the calamari to start. It was delicious! They also served warm bread with butter and parmesean cheese. For the main course, I ordered the Eggplant Parmesean (not on the dinner menu). It came with a salad to start, which was pretty good. The Eggplant Parmesean was so yummy! One of the best I’ve ever had (better than Cucina Tagliani and Olive Garden). I will definitely come back whenever I am craving some good Italian food with a nice ambiance and good service.
