Great Thai food, service was very efficient, the owner’s friend volunteering, (hey that’s pretty cool)very friendly and accommodating. Dishes were tasty, and visually appealing as well. My only gripe is that the BBQ pork was kinda saucy, whatever, we are it all up! I’d totally come back

My fianc and I just moved to Goodyear and were excited to start trying some of the restaurants in the area. We ate at Royal Jasmine Thai for the first and only time last night (2-7-14.) We walked in and were told to seat ourselves at a booth right by the door. We sat there for about 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging us in anyway. We were actually discussing whether or not we should just leave when a girl finally came over to take a drink order. Someone else brought over our two sodas a few minutes later. A little bit later the first girl came back and took our food order. We ordered an appetizer and two entrees which ranged from good (not great) to not good at all. A third person brought our food out after a while, and that was the last time a staff member actually came to our table. We ate the entire meal with empty sodas, no knife (only 1 fork each to eat with), and an entre I couldnt eat. I ate my rice and some of the appetizer waiting for someone to come over to we could ask for refills, a different entre, and a knife to eat what we did have. My fianc ended up finishing his entre and we decided we were just done. At this point, since no one had been to our table since the food was brought out I looked at the time on my phone. After a full TWENTY-FIVE minutes passed (which has to be at least 35 minutes with no one coming to the table to check on us), I got up and walked up to a staff member at the bar and requested our check and complained. She did apologize and take the entre I didnt eat off our check. She also offered a complimentary dessert, but we declined since we didnt want to sit at the booth another 30 minutes. My fianc and I agreed it is the worst dining experience weve ever had together. We will not be back.

We love this place! We had Tom Yum soup, Cashew Chicken, Phad Thai Shrimp, and a to-die-for sweet rice and mango dessert. Fabulous food and fabulous service! We’ll surely be back (with friends!).
We have been to Royal Jasmine at least 15 times since we found it last Fall. The service is delightful and food is consistently delicious! Make sure to try the Tom Yum soup!!
Try it, you’ll like it.. My wife and I tried this newer restaurant last weekend. I must say we both enjoyed it very much. The staff was very good and the food was better. We had a red curry pork that was very good, and a chicken dish (e8) i believe that was great. We had it made medium heat and it was just right. I like some spice and it was one the upper end of my comfort level but the flavors of the dish were fantastic and the heat was nice but not overwhelming. I will definitely be back. Full disclosure though, the owner is a co-worker of my wife’s. The owner was part owner of the Thai Orchid Garden and now owns and runs Royal Jasmine. She is in house and is part of the staff that will help you during your visit. The new restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and nice decor.
