Awsome!!!. I will say right off the bat, the food was amazing and cooked to perfection!!! it came out in a timly maner and was fresh! I recommend the steak sandwich and the porter house The waiter was polite and friendly. The decor needed a tune up but if you want to go somewhere to escape the hustle of the chain restaurants Codys is that place! chill little hide out right in the middle of the city. and if you save room for dessert the peanut butter pie is mind blowing.
Great lunches!. I have been here many times for lunch. They have delicious burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches (high quality chicken) and a great Caesar salad (with steak or chicken on it if you’d like). The steak fries are AMAZING! The waitresses are friendly and service is quick. They also get to know you and what you eat/drink pretty quickly. I love the western atmosphere, too. Food is very fresh. Who would expect such a fresh tasting salad at a burger place? Very good homemade soups, too.Have only had dinner her once, but it was great. I highly recommend Cody’s, especially for lunch.

An old favorite. Though we no longer live in Tucson, this is a place for eats if we’re in the neighborhood. The owner/ chef was a butcher,I’m told, hence the nicely trimmed beef plates. My favorite lunch has always been the steak sandwich. Served on a nice toasted french roll, with crisp steak fries (request crispy if you like) the thinly sliced steak hangs off the plate. Always delicious, and a real bargain. Homey, friendly, family run business, has never disappointed.
Lousy beef: tough and very little flavor. there are many places that do the ‘cowboy steakhouse’ so much better and with lots more ambience to boot.
