Very weak margaritas. They were stingy with the chips. The salsa was excellent. Overall, the food was very average. I was disappointed after reading so many good reviews. I would not recommend this place.

I love this place! The food has always been good. I’ve been coming here since late 90’s. I love he atmosphere. The music. It’s the closest thing to being on Mexico I can find here in Tucson. Yes…the service can be slow. If you are in a hurry like most Americans…maybe you should go to Taco Bell. The laid back atmosphere of Rosas is another reason I love it. My advice is: have no where to be…and all day to get there! Just enjoy the food and experience!

A lovely meal. Tasty. Hot. Fast to the table. Pleasant waitstaff. Good selection and excellent flavor. Would recommend. No frills, just good Mexican food.

The food was good and the service was better.

Bad Tacos. Had an order of tacos, ground beef and the meat was fatty, under cooked with gristle. The shell fell a part due to too much moisture. Worst tacos I have ever had!

The food was excellent and service good. The waitress wasn’t excessively warm but she was nice enough and our food came quickly. Someone also checked on us frequently. I had Gary’s specialty, and thought the chile relleno and tamale were really good. I’m a southwest native and have eaten my share of mexican food and this is some of the best I’ve had in Tucson. The atmosphere is casual but you still sit down and order from the table so it’s not like fast-food type, and there’s traditional music playing and a pretty neat mural on the walls. Overall I’d give Rosa’s two thumbs up!

So so. Really friendly staff, but the food wasn’t my favorite. I only ate there once, though. The Sangria however was quite enjoyable.
