Yummmm! Had lunch at Makai’s during our vacation and it was excellent! My husband had a burger, which he thought was the best burger he has had in a while. I had the spicy turkey sandwich which was super tasty, it definitely has a kick, so sensitive taste buds be cautioned. Everything is very nicely done, the staff is friendly, the view is gorgeous and Makai’s is definitely a place worth visiting!

Focaccio bread. My bread was drier than dry and tasted stale to the point we couldn’t eat it. After advising the hostess, she returned to advise the bread was fine, it was supposed to be dry. This was stale bread not just dry and I wont have another sandwich there if we eat there at all. The setting is very nice but this is the second time we ate there and we were not impressed, especially when the price is on the steep side. Should have gone upstairs or over to Javelinas as they are consistently good.
Makai in the morning. I truly enjoyed the setting, service and the food. I will return.
Bland. Mediocre run of the mill food w/Interior decor to match.
We had a group of 21 aviators visit the Makai Cafe on a busy Saturday morning and place was packed. We had reservations on the patio and our tables were waiting for us when we arrived. The service was prompt and pleasant. The food was very good and I had my favorite Egg Benedict. Even with the large crowds, we received our orders in a normal amount of time. The prices were only slightly more than many places that we have visited but well worth it. The view from the patio is great and highly recommended.
Just OK. Won’t go back though.. The food was ok, overpriced though. The service wasn’t the greatest… they cater to their friends, so if you do go, hope that you go when the employees friends are there- or else good luck getting service.
