Tom Yum Gai. Yummy…ate this soup (Thai spicy) for four days when I had a brutal cold. Vietnamese penicillin!15 Jan, 2015We’re Not In LA and We’re Not In New York!!!. I would definitely eat here! Now, that being said, you are not going to get the LA, Vegas, SF, NY experience that you may be accustomed to. You’re in Lake Havazu, folks!!! Look around you….all you see is a sea of white! You’re not going to find a Greek guy on the corner making spanakapota, gyros, or baklava…you’re not going to find a Ma & Pa shop frying up some southern fried chicken with a side of collards…NOT gonna happen! This is the only Thai restaurant in Havasu…I, for one, am happy we even have one. I’m not going to lie to you, though. Some days, the service is slow…there’s only one server. And, the food is not always consistent…BUT, if you tell the Chef how you like you’re meal (sweet/not sweet; spicy/not spicy), that is exactly how you will get it! Try the Tom Yum Gai (actually all the soups are great), Fried Rice dishes, Massuman Curry. Try this place for yourself…trust me it’s worth it!!!
Dont waste your time. This restaurant has no waitresses husband and wife try run on there own wait time is about 2 hours or more these people have no idea how to run a buisiness never ever again. After long wait over over an hour and a half walked out.
Recently moved from the LA/Orange county area where there is ALOT of Thai restaurants to choose from low end to high end and price according to quality! My family and I were surprised to find that this place is in the HIGH end of Taste, quality, spice options and priced waaaay fair! The Currys are awesome, soups are great, but the BEST hands down is the PEANUT noodle with chicken!! Absolutely can’t be beat!! Would put most of there dishes up against any So-Cal high end Thai restaurant!! I believe it’s family owned, wife in the kitchen and husband handling the customers!! Service is great, BUT his personality has cost them ALOT of business I’m sure!! Everyone we’ve talked to in town and out of towners have said the same thing! The place would be a GOLDMINE if he was not so pissed off looking!! There kinda hidden, but everyone who likes Thai food knows where there at!! Would be really sad to see them move away, Lake Havasu is riddled with below average resurants! Absolutely recommend to ALL thai food lovers!!
DELIVERY/ATTITUDE. Food is excellent for Thai in Lake Havasu, However, this is an establishment that offers delivery. yet about every time we call the guy that always answers.he has a stressed out annoyed voice, and that he cant deliver. and does only when he has time? if you as a food service cannot afford help and are doing all the work yourself, then do not advertise you deliver when you actually really do not. and is it so hard to sound happy that we as the customers are calling you in the first place? is it not in fact the reason your doors stay open in the first place? just because it is a small town, and that you are the only THAI food in the city. does not mean you can be jerks. I do not hardly ever post things like this as it just looks like another ass customer not getting his way. no, that is not the case. this has happened a number of times. and I am growing tired of this and the entire city’s business practices if any that they might have. STEP IT UP PEOPLE, PLEASE!
Only place in Havasu to get Thai. I am no Thai connoisseur, but this place is good. It is owned and ran by one couple and the wife is from Thailand. I have tried 4 dishes from here and they are all very delicious. You have the option of how spicy you want your dish to be so each time you go you can get something completely different. The only downside is that the wife is the only cook in the back, so if you come with a large group (4+) your dishes are made to order and you will be waiting. I normally call and order take out so we don’t have to worry about that. I hope this place never closes!
I love the food! I just wish the restaurant was open on a consistent basis with consistent hours.
