A Birthday Dinner at the Red Onion. Friday, January 9. 2015, I took my friend out for her birthday, she chose this restaurant. Friday night Fish and Chips special. We ordered the special, received our salad, drinks and then the food. The food was excellent, what was NOT excellent was the waiter, he never showed up again. She had water and I had Root Beer, I went to the front with my glass and asked for a refill. She wanted more fish because hers was 78% coating and little fish, she never received it. We waited for the bill and finally walked to the desk to pay. We told the girl what we had and our bill was a little over $25.00 I gave the waiter two bucks and told the young woman the reason, he took our order and we never saw him again. I’ve never had a problem there and that waiter should definitely work there, not willing to chance it , it will be some time before I eat there again, my friend’s birthday ended on a sour note.
Worst service in town. We are blatantly ignored every time we go. Incredibly disorganized staff. We waited for more than an hour after we got our drinks, but no one ever came back to take our order. There are much better places in town for breakfast and lunch…
Nice ambiance, standard breakfast Menu, service was good. I took the server’s recommendation of the chicken fried steak.
Great atmosphere, average food, crap service
Hmm, don’t order the spinach salad. It and the dressing that came on it was terrible. I’ll come back once more to try the breakfast before completely writing this place off. The wait staff were very rude and were more interested in social hour than seating us or refilling drinks.
Service was a little slow, but the food was solid — and the house-made potato chips were insane. Could be the only hip place in Lake Havasu.
Never open when I want it to be!. Limited hours, But the Bloody Mary’s are to die for!
