Wedding Catering. We absolutely love this restaurant! We eat there at least twice a month. So when my son and his fiance were planning their wedding and we were discussing who to have cater it, Babbo’s was the first place that came to mind. We knew the quality and delicious flavor of all the different dishes at Babbo’s Glendale from our personal dining experiences. So we decided to see what they could do as far as catering. Kim, the manager, had us come in and taste several different entrees, side dishes, salads, appetizers, although we had been there enough that really wasn’t necessary. We were sold immediately. I had already talked with other caters who were already trying to up sell me on the phone and their prices started out double the price of Babbo’s. We received so many compliments on the food at the wedding and they brought so much that nearly everyone could have had seconds. Nobody went away hungry! THEN the clean up was amazing! We had rented the dishes and flatware from another company and Kim and her crew cleaned up the dishes, the kitchen and even took the trash with them! This was the best experience I could have ever imagined. We knew they were the best as far as dining, but they went above and beyond as far as making our son and new daughter-in-law’s wedding delightful and delicious! Thanks to Kim and her people at Babbo’s Glendale!!!
Great Place. Babbo’s is one of the best around. Everything I have ordered from there has been phenomenal, especially the pastas. I can never finish my meal because I fill up on their complimentary bread with oil/vinegar (which is also phenomenal). They dont have draft beer but the bottled selection is decent and they have several nice wines.
Pizza Toppings. The service and their food is usually fantastic. I normally get their spaghetti and meatballs on Mondays and Tuesdays, but this time I decided to try their pizza. The pizza itself was pretty good, but they put Spam (at least that is what it looked like and tasted like) on as a topping when I asked for Canadian Bacon. It was square cubes of ham. If you are a fan of Canadian Bacon, you will be disappointed. We did let the waitress know that we were given Ham or Spam instead of Canadian Bacon and she apologized, but did nothing about it.
I Guess You Just Have To Go. We’ve eaten there only once but gotten ‘to-go’ numerous times, again just the other night. I really like their food but almost every single time we get take-out from there they somehow screw up our order. I’ve become very careful when ordering over the phone but that doesn’t seem to help. I’ve mentioned it management and keep getting the same old platitudes. Thank goodness for Oggie’s.
Food good. Coupons nice until they made them all dine in only. Now I never go.
Like it!. We really like Babbo.Reasonably priced. Different pastas (Chipolte, Curry & Pear, Gorgonzola..etc….). Great starter bread. & $5.99 Spaghetti and Meatballs on Monday. What’s not to like? And great everyday happy hour prices!
Great Food. Good prices along with Five Star Service. Ordered from the caulk board menu…roasted chicken with wild mushroom marsala and roasted veggies. My wife ordered the pasta valducci…artichokes, kalamata olives, sun dried tomatoes, and garlic, in a pink sauce. Both entrees very well worth it. Had salad, dinner, and dessert all for $45 bucks. Keep it up Babbo, and open a westside location…. GOODYEAR maybe?
