  Today was Good to Okay. Today was my friends chance to drive again. While I pushed for my usual favorite food of Thai, he wasn’t feeling quite up to it. So we headed here,, instead. I adore this place for their Orange Chicken & beef but I wanted to experiment today. We went for West Lake Soup, Spicy Dumplings. He chose Tofu and Mushrooms and I chose Eight Treasure Chicken. While the chicken was good their was an off vinegary taste which I couldn’t put my finger on and the use of frozen peas and carrots left not much the way in vegetable, I prefer a few real fresh vegetable with this dish. At times too many peanuts but the overall nutty flavor and tasty chicken sauce suited my desires. Not the best this time around, but still good.

  Unforgettable Pecan Shrimp!. I love this dish and now that I’m living in Northern Colorado can not find anything that compares. If you have never tried China Rainbow you don’t know what you’re missing. It’s great food and the staff is very nice.If any of you have a clue as to the recipe could you reply? I would love to make this dish, or try since I’m unable to enjoy the real thing.

  Great Chinese Food. Great Chinese food, in a little neighborhood restaurant. I found this place quite by accident when we lived in Peoria and have been coming back for nine years. We now live in Estrella Mountain Ranch in way south Goodyear and still travel back here regularly for our Chinese food fix. Try the Pecan Shrimp and you will be abslutely delighted.David
