The creation of Le Chalet was much like our fondue. Yes, we are a little cheesy! But, much like a good fondue, we have melted the talents and abilities of all our staff to bring about only the best for our customers. Alain, who attended the American Musical Dramatic Academy in New York, has a broad background in Broadway. Performing shows, such as La Cage aux Folles and Cabaret, he desires to bring only the best entertainment to Le Chalets stage. His aspiration for Le Chalet is the entertainment of NY, similar to that of Dont Tell Mama or Duplex. Alain, who has performed as Cookie Monster, Count Von Count, and Telly Monster, loves children as well; so bring them into Le Chalet for an autograph! His experience in the restaurant business began as a starving actor. In need for more income, he has worked at Laurent and Maxims, which is owned by designer Pierre Cardin. Alain has performed as a personal butler for celebrities at the Sony Club as well. Even the dcor of Le Chalet has been a melting of personalities. From authentic French posters and French street signs to the hand painted mural, painted by Alains nephew, every look was created by the staff. Step inside, and you have entered a little European village. An overhang of the bar to look like a chalet is located near a mountain ice-caped stage. So, ski (or snowboard) on by and stop in for a bite to eat.but, do watch out for the cows located throughout Le Chalet!
