Love everything but the beer. I stop here often. There is just something about the place I like. I always enjoy the meal or light appetizers. I just can’t get over how bad the brews are. I love a great micro or craft beer, but find this stuff almost undrinkable. The white actually sends me to the head. Please add one drinkable brew to the mix and you will have me.
Good but not great. Dined here earlier this week. Not a huge menu, but what we did order was OK. Not great, just OK. Service was fairly fast, but I thought the waiter was too chummy and just a bit cheeky. News flash — I’m a customer not your long-lost buddy. With so many other good restaurants in the area, why go twice?

Top Of The Rock. The beer is always good and cold. The food is always reliable. Try the seasonal beer and the Southwest Chicken and Shrimp is definitely a winner.
Great food and great beer. I’ve always liked it here…good food and good beer. However, I got quite a shock today. I had my heart set on a monte cristo for lunch and it’s no longer on the menu! Not only that, but they can’t even make it. The waitress also mentioned that they’re changing the menu again soon…so if you have a fave, you better get it while you can!That said, their Cobb salad with bleu cheese dressing is really good!
No more Monte Cristo!. I’ve always liked the menu at Rock Bottom – it’s pub fare done slightly upscale in a nice restaurant setting. It doesn’t hurt that they also have their own beers.Recently we went here for lunch and what did I see on the menu? The rare, fabled Monte Cristo! Wish they had it on their dinner menu, but I’ll take whatever I can get.Update: we went back for lunch again the other day and the Monte Cristo was removed from the lunch menu. We asked the waitress who confirmed it was gone. She also mentioned that in a few weeks (so, mid-August 2008) they’ll be updating the menu again. No clue if it’ll come back yet or not.Recommended.
