Grandpa’s is a quaint pizza establishment. Nothing fancy and the staff is cordial, not really friendly but they have never made a mistake on an order for me so they are competent.Pizzas are pretty good as long as you like a standard crust. Pizzas are ‘NY Themed’ but being from Brooklyn myself, it’s not a true NY pie by any means. I suggest asking for a little more sauce and garlic – that takes the pizza to another level.I have had the wings once; tonight in fact. They were surprisingly large and very tender. The hot wings are not as hot as the sign on the counter implies but I’m glad as they are tasteful, not overpowering.
