Casual authentic Mexico City Style Foods. The Specialty of the house is what they call the Machete. It was a house made very large corn tortilla rolled and stuffed with a choice of twelve different fillings and serval are very seldom served at most Mexican Restaurants. I had the Huitlacoche Stuffed Machete. It was about two feet long and generously stuffed with lots of Huilacoche (Mexican Truffle or also called corn smut) and lots of cheese. It was tasty and interesting and I took 1/2 home because of the gut busting size. My husband had the Huaraches topped with Chorizo and cheese. He thought it was really good and we each had a taco too because we weren’t aware what we ordered would be so large. I had a chicken taco. The tortilla tasted was house made and tasted just like they do in Mexico. The taco was street sized. The atmosphere is extremely loud. You hear Mexican Music that’s blaring from outside and the inside TV plays some sort of Mexican Television. I do warn you that you come for the food and not the atmosphere as the booths are very shabby. Service was pretty good considering how busy they were. Most of the beverages are Mexican.
