If you love Tex Mex, then this place should be in your favourites. I was here with my family and my experience was fantastic. It was my brother’s birthday, so the staff made the whole occasion special by wishing and celebrating. Service was quick and menu had wide variety of mexican delicacies. I tried the Quesadillas-cheese crisp toasted flour tortilla loaded with melted cheese. Nachos werecovered with melted cheese topped with tomatoes, olives and green onions. But the best was the taco platter- it was served with grilled veggies and guacomole. It was a colorful platter with lots of flavours and awesomeness. RECOMMENDED

25+ years and still great. My parents brought here often when we were kids, in the early 80’s, we all loved it. Continued to visit for many years then moved to different part of the valley. I recently dined here again for the 1st time in a long while. After my 25+ years of eating here the food hasn’t changed and is still wonderful….exactly how I remember, quality Sonoran Mexican with great prices. Good job Popo’s!Also have to give a 2thumbs up! for the $3 margs on tues. 🙂 awesome.
