This place is just off The Freeway 10, and, as a trucker, I took advantage of the short walk from the truck stop to sample the food of this restaurant. I am pleased to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the interior, typically Mexican and nothing over glamorous, but I wasn’t expecting The Ritz! I was greeted by a waitress who made no apologies for the lack of clientele, but she was polite, charming and efficient in her service. By the time I departed, the place was almost full of people, so that speaks volumes for the quality of food and standard of service. My meal was good and nicely presented, and, I have nothing but praise for the staff and restaurant. I’ll certainly return to dine here and it’s exceptional value for money!
Wanted to like the place,,,,but,,,,. I walked over from the truck stop, looking for better than truck stop food. Did not find it here. Service was very slow, place did not have many customers, and the waitress apologised, but slow is slow, period. Given a choice between shredded or ground beef enchiladas, I asked for, shredded, got ground beef anyway. Enchiladas contained too many onions, their taste and texture overwhelmed the enchiladas. Like I said, I wanted to like the place, they just didn’t give me any reason to……
